Working at the heart of the community
Welcome to Citizens Advice Caerphilly Blaenau Gwent
We don’t think of ourselves as simply an advice agency, we are an organisation that helps and supports people to sort out their money, legal and other problems and to improve their quality of life.
We do this by delivering quality assured information, advice and guidance face-to-face, by phone, web chat and video and by working to achieve policy change at a local and national level.
We know that every client is an individual and work hard to tailor the service to the individual’s needs. Helping and supporting individuals to get fair treatment, access and opportunity is a fundamental goal.
CACBG’s main office is in Bargoed and houses our management, outreach and specialist teams. Our Caerphilly office is a dedicated multi-channel digital contact centre.

Our Aims and Values
The Twin Aims of the Citizens Advice Service are:
• To provide the advice people need for the problems they face
• To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
Our Values:
We’re inventive. We’re not afraid of trying new things and learn by getting things wrong. We question every idea to make it better and we change when things aren’t working.
We’re generous. We work together, sharing knowledge and experience to solve problems. We tell it like it is and respect everyone.
We’re responsible. We do what we say we’ll do and keep our promises. We remember that we work for a charity and use our resources effectively.
The Citizens
Advice service provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to
everyone on their rights and responsibilities. It values diversity, promotes
equality and challenges discrimination.
